The new Sporting Club at Le Fucine Hotel & Spa, unique and the first of its kind in Friuli Venezia Giulia, was created with a vision of sustainable continuity between the structure and the surrounding environment, both in terms of the forms and materials used and the cultural osmosis with Buttrio. Nicknamed the City of Wine, it is conveniently located among the hills of the Colli Orientali del Friuli and just a short distance from Collio, known worldwide for the superior quality of its wines.

This complex goes beyond the traditional concept of a sports center: a 36,000 m² area dedicated to sports and wellness, immersed in greenery and designed to offer each guest a personalized space for activities and relaxation, complementing the hotel’s existing amenities, including a gourmet restaurant, a brasserie, a café, a gym, and a beauty and spa area.

A 36,000-square-meter sports oasis that follows the same philosophy as the Le Fucine resort: symbiosis with the territory, interior design Made in Friuli Venezia Giulia, and total eco-sustainability.

Inside the Sporting Club, there are outdoor trails to explore, as well as multipurpose indoor and outdoor courts for soccer, padel, tennis, basketball, and volleyball.

The Club House consists of a bar and a lounge area, furnished with designer furniture Made in Friuli Venezia Giulia, designed by Marco Zito in collaboration with Studio Artico and Fracassi, and connects the facility with the surrounding area in every aspect of living.

The center was designed to be energy self-sufficient and sustainable, with solar panels powering it, wood sourced from the Carnia region, and a system of awnings that adjusts to the weather to maintain the playing area’s temperature.

Currently under construction, waiting for nature to take its course, the Sporting Club will be surrounded by a green ring open to all for walking, running, or relaxing, and by rest areas populated by butterflies, essential oils, or dedicated to yoga and Pilates.

And after a workout and an aperitif at the Sporting Club bar, you can continue your workout at one of Le Fucine’s two restaurants: Le Fucine Gourmet, led by Chef Andrea Fantini, which offers the finest local products and wines, and the Brasserie, which offers more traditional cuisine with a special focus on quality meats, thanks in part to the use of a Josper oven.

Next to the main hotel building, the original service station designed by Marcello D’Olivo in the 1960s houses Le Fucine Caffè & Bistrot, perfect for an informal break.

Le Fucine is a constantly evolving facility, open to various events, including sports tournaments, and the perfect logistical hub for visiting Friuli Venezia Giulia’s main tourist destinations, such as Collio, Aquileia, and Trieste.

The Secret

The eco resort that includes the Sporting Club is a tribute by the Danieli Group to the visionary corporate culture of Adriano Olivetti, inspired by the naturalistic and food and wine genius loci of the “City of Wine” and the 1960s design.
